Who are you?

  • I work with capable women who are in roles that used to excite them but don't any more.

  • I also support women who are sick of being overlooked for roles that they could do standing on their head, those who've been looking for a new role for a while and aren't sure why nothing they do is working and those who are facing redundancy and like the idea of making the most of the opportunity, but aren't sure what options are available, and how to get going.

  • My help would benefit you if you've got the knowledge, experience and skills that you need in spades, but are less sure how to use these to find a new role in this market.

  • You're most likely a mid/senior woman who is over 40, and isn't sure about what's working now when it comes to ATS systems, writing a CV, recruiters and competency based interviews. You thought you knew 5 years ago, but right now, it feels like you've got in the car with the lights off and no sat nav.

  • You might have had a career 'bump in the road' and be feeling a bit less confident than before, but ultimately you know that you don't want to stay where you are now, whether that's out of work, or stagnating in a role.

  • You may not know what you want to do next and might 'sort of' use LinkedIn, 'kind of' look at jobsites, be spraying and praying your CV anywhere and everywhere without even really knowing what you want and if you were honest, you'd rather hide under the duvet than have to "sell yourself".   • I'm here to help with practical advice and guidance to support you to find the role that you love, at the salary that you deserve. I'll show you how to position yourself at the right level, so that you become the standout candidate, and the obvious choice for the role.

  • I'm an honest and practical person. I won't sugar coat the hard facts around your next move but I will support you all the way. No panic applying, spraying and praying or going to plan B before you need to here! But also, no hiding your light under a bushel, downplaying your brilliance or waiting for ever for an employer to finally stop saying "This time next year, Rodney" and promote you.

  • Instead, when we work together you can look forward to getting crystal clear in what you want (and don't), only applying for jobs that you're a brilliant fit for and doing it really well, your ideal manager coming to YOU and a job that suits you down to the ground, at a salary that you can thrive and not just survive on. We'll do all of this using my brilliant B.O.L.D framework, which is a tried and tested way of deciding what you want, and going and getting it, using strategies and techniques that are working NOW.

The job market has changed massively in the last few years and it's more competitive than ever, so you are more likely than ever to need expert advice to navigate through it.

There's absolutely no shame in this, in fact it's really smart to know when to get help, instead of sending the CV that you KNOW isn't getting you interviews out another 10 times, and burning your bridges with another 10 employers you'd love to work for.

Tailored One to One Support Options

Positioned

You're a senior woman with a career's worth of experience, and a habit of downplaying all of it. You don't need convincing that you're good at what you do. You know that. You just need help SHOWING it, without feeling like a show-off.

Positioned is 12 weeks of me in your corner, helping you land your next senior role, the one where you're actually recognised, properly paid, and not bored out of your mind by Tuesday lunchtime.

  • First, we work out what you actually want, and we're going to get specific here… even if right now you're convinced those jobs don't exist (they absolutely do.)

  • Your CV completely overhauled until it finally does you justice.

  • Your LinkedIn gets the same treatment.

  • And when the interview invites come in we prep. Properly.

  • We will also look at how best to get your network involved to support you with all of this.

Six one-to-one sessions. That's where we dig into all of this together.

And in between calls you can get hold of me directly, Monday to Friday. Message me, send a voice note, and I'm there.

Standout Candidate Package

Over the course of 3 sessions, I'll support you with whatever you need to help you to find a new role or go for promotion.

The package specifics depend on the person, but we always follow my B.O.L.D framework, which starts with deciding on WHAT you want, and then we work on HOW you get it. So, you decide where you're going and then we come up with a roadmap for how you'll get there, which typically involves support around your CV or applications, covering letters, applications, using your network, LinkedIn and finally the interview process,

You CAN have a role that you love, that fits with your life. You just might need a bit of help to secure it, and that's where I come in.

The cost for the package is £797, saving you £100 when you buy the sessions as a package, and there is an option to pay in 2 instalments.

Career Spotlight Sessions

These practical 60 minute sessions will support you with whatever you need most to find a new role, position yourself as an expert or prepare for a negotiation, depending on which stage of the process you are at.

We could use this time to:

  • Decide on your realistic next move, and make a plan to get you there

  • Create a CV that sells your skills, and positions you as the standout candidate

  • Utilise your LinkedIn profile to show what you have to offer an employer and create a content plan that cements your authority

  • Prepare examples for a specific application that show how you fit the job description

  • Prepare for an interview and/or presentation by anticipating what you're likely to be asked and working through answers and scenarios

  • Prepare for a salary conversation by honing in on your tangible results and impact, and understanding how and when to negotiate

The cost is £299 for the session and the recording. When you book, I'll ask you to let me know what you want from the session so that I make sure I have everything I need from you.

For employers

If your career development activities start and end with a yearly appraisal, I can help to bring this to life every day, so that you can attract, support and retain staff. This could involve tailored workshops, small group sessions, or 1 to 1 mentoring.

I can also help you to support staff who are at risk of, or facing redundancy through outplacement services. I offer team sessions and also 1 to 1 mentoring to help them to move on to a new role. Offering this service has a huge reputational benefit, as well as being the best way to support staff to succeed in a difficult job market.
