Here's how it works. We'll use my B.O.L.D framework, which stands for Build, Own, Land and Distinguish.
First, we work out what you actually want, and we're going to get specific.
The salary (and yes, you're allowed to say you want a £15k pay rise).
The role - one that actually matches what you're capable of, not one you've squeezed yourself into because it was there.
The flexibility - maybe that's a 3 day week, maybe it's hybrid, maybe it's "I'm not doing another year of the packed train, the soggy coat, the same faces looking just as miserable as me."
A company where you're not constantly battling against values that make your skin crawl.

Then we sort your CV.
And I don't mean a little polish. I mean line by line, pulling out everything you've buried under "I suppose I did...". The results that got a "thanks" in a meeting and then everyone moved on. Questions you might have…
What if I'm not senior enough for this?
If you've got years of experience, you've led projects or people, and you're ready for a role that actually matches what you're capable of - you're senior enough. This isn't about job titles. It's about where you are in your career and whether you're ready to stop underselling yourself.
I've been out of the job market for years. I don't know how any of this works anymore.
